Fastnet is a B2B Internet Service Provider based in Brighton.
Having traded for more than 20 years and with numerous industry awards under their belt, Fastnet are established leaders in the connectivity sector.
The Fastnet brief was multi-facetted; firstly we were tasked with reimagining their brand presence. The company lacked a clear and concise brand identity that their loyal customers and staff could really rally behind.
Secondly, we were asked to create a new online presence. Their current site was tired, out-dated and unresponsive and consequently alienated their mobile and tablet visitors.
One of Fatsnet’s main concerns was that the site should be clear; with key information their visitors need to access at the centre of the site. They also required a suite of tools to enable customers to check their connectivity details and make informed decisions on the products they wished to purchase.
Wolfcub Digital worked closely with Fastnet to create a complete brand overhaul: developing a new visual language and brand voice to bring them fully into the 21st century.
Using the online wire-framing tool, Invision, we then turned our attention to creating a prototype of the site. Working in Invision allowed us to work collaboratively with Fastnet- quickly receiving feedback and working efficiently.
Once the prototype was agreed, we started work on the design and development of the site. Throughout this phase we worked in iterative sprints and we were able to show our progress on the site at key points.
Alongside the website, we also produced a microsite called the Brand Hub; a CMS driven internal portal, by which users can access all of the branding material we produced for them such as imagery and messaging & tone of voice guidelines as well as individual design assets including fonts, templates and logo variations.
The new Fastnet brand and site was launched in the summer of 2015 and has garnered great feedback from Fastnet customers. Since the launch of the site, Fastnet have reported an increase in sales conversions and brand awareness from existing and new customers.
